After your B.Sc in biotechnology, you can opt for MSc in Biotechnology or Genetics. You can also opt for biochemistry as a field for masters in the same. Theses are one of the best options which you have for your masters.

I think you don't have clear concept about that.
B.Sc is just Undergraduate degree where as PhD is doctors degree.
For PhD you have to first qualify different Jrf exams without which PhD is of no value . For sitting in exam of different Jrf( CSIR NET-JRF, DBT- JRF, ICMR-JRF ) of life sciences you must have post graduation degree in any subject of life science.
All the best.

As PCB are not eligible for IIT's I would Suggest Some best colleges Like Lovely Professional University, VITU, BHU etc. for taking admission.
There is good scope and Placement in B.tech courses in Biotechnology at LPU and VIT. But if you are choosing for BSc it would be better if you would go for Masters too. as you would usually get low paying jobs after simple B.Sc/BSc(Hons).

Hi Priyadarshini,
You need to have completed a 4 year bachelors program. You would need to write GRE and IELTS and if you are hoping for Top Universities, you need an excellent academic score. Here's a link to explain further the step by step process for applying to a masters program in Germany!
