I think you should consider your interest in the specific branch of engineering rather than considering the college preference. Both branches, metallurgy and civil are quite vast and entirely different. So please first consider what is your interest in that specific career option.

Hi Aryan,
BIT Sindri is a govt college and according to my knowledge there is no management quota seat available for any one.
Private colleges used to take admission through management quota.

Don't know about Sindri much but as far as Mesra is concerned, there is no admission through lateral entry, to grab a seat in Mesra one has 2 go for JEE Mains
