No, you will not require giving the exam of CMAT for the course of mass communication and journalism from Gujarat University. The CMAT is basically an entrance examination that can be cleared by students who want to undergo an MBA course from one of the B schools. For courses in mass communication and journalism, the entrance examination is mostly conducted by Gujarat University or through some other process.

Yes, you may pursue higher education after getting a bachelor's degree in Mass Media and Communications. While, most students prefer to start working in fields like journalism, advertising, writing, etc. others may go on to pursue additional certificate degrees, and diplomas to enhance their skills and portfolios. Students may also opt for an MA in Mass Media and Mass Communications. It will expand your technical knowledge and give you an added advantage over other candidates who may apply for the same job as you.

To become a newspaper editor, first, complete your class 12th from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50-60%. Pursue courses like BA in Journalism, Mass Media, and Mass Communication or English.
