BBAU does not offer M.Sc Botany through CUET PG. So, with 131 marks, you cannot get admission there.
Other universities like BHU offer Botany, but their cutoff is better, generally above 160. Your chances are low until you belong to a reserved category.
You can attempt other schools with lower cutoffs.

With 80 marks in CUET PG, admission in top-ranked universities for M.Sc. Botany like Delhi University, BHU, or Hyderabad University will be a remote chance, as their cutoffs will be more than 150. But you may try to apply to state universities, private colleges, or autonomous colleges with less cutoff. Colleges in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, or Tamil Nadu with less cutoff for some categories or rural quotas are options.

Unfortunately with the marks 131 in CUET PG botany, getting admission in UOH is very low. The expected cut off for general category is around 240. And even for reserved category its 160 to 180. Your score is in below average range so it's difficult to get admission in this college.

Admission to M.Sc. in Botany typically opens between May and July, with some national entrance tests like IIT JAM beginning as early as September of the previous year. You can apply to various universities based on either merit (UG marks) or entrance exams such as CUET-PG, BHU PET, ICAR AIEEA, or state-level PGCETs. With score of 178 marks in CUET PG SCQP25, you may be eligible for admission in reputable government colleges like Central University of Punjab, BHU, or University of Allahabad for MSc in Plant Biotechnology or Botany, particularly under reserved categories.
It may seem a it tough for the unreserved categories but others do have a chance.
You should also keep looking at the merit list released by the colleges.

For the regular full-time M.Sc. Botany program at Bharathidasan University (main campus, Tiruchirappalli) for the 2025–2026 session, no separate entrance exam is conducted. Admission is based on undergraduate (B.Sc.) merit, and the process is handled through their official online admission portal .
