No, you cannot apply for Diploma in botany. Only Science students are eligible for the same.

I am a student freon Biology stream. So, I can surely say that geology and botany have more scope in India. Geology can take you to so many of private, semi-governmental, and governmental jobs in India with interesting works and salary. No, you can't get admission without entrance exam. There entrance exam are as BHU Post Graduate Entrance Test: Held by Banaras Hindu University in May every year, it is a university level entrance test to take admission for post graduate programs at BHU. This test asks questions from Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
Joint Entrance Test:. Conducted every year by University of Rajasthan in June, Joint Entrance Test is an entrance examination for admissions in post graduate courses. Its syllabus covers Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.

Yes, you can.
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks.
Students need to appear in the entrance test conducted by the various states and Independent educational bodies and universities for admission in various teaching institutions attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam.
These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of Objective type questions about English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Pot
