Yes, you are eligible to pursue M.Sc. In zoology. If you are concerned about the gap in between then don't worry. You will only be required to give a Self Declaration stating your reason for the gap and then you will be allowed to take admission.

Hi Tina, The National Eligibility Test NET is conducted every year in the months of June and December by the University Grants Commission for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship
A candidate is eligible for appearing for UGC NET only if :-
- The candidate must have completed his post graduation in any stream with an aggregate of 55% without rounding off.
- The JRF candidates must be less than 28 years of age. Yes, you are definitely eligible for appearing for the UGC NET in Environmental Science as that is the closest to your branch. Regards.

You should begin by downloading previous year's papers and solving them regularly. This way you will familiarize yourself with the paper pattern and it will give you an idea of how preparation you need to do. Then start studying according to the syllabus. Divide the syllabus in sections of three and give time to each section daily. This way you will make all your subjects strong together. It is obvious that you will have to study hard for this Exam. I would suggest dividing your time in two slots. Test yourself after finishing each topic.

Hi Dhanraj, You need to successfully complete 10+2 level of education in Science stream completed from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at 10+2 level.
