Hello Dear,
B.Sc in plant biology and biotechnology will open several other options for you. You will be able to pursue Masters in any Science related field with biology as a background. You will have the options of Master's degree in these same courses or you can do Masters in botany, forestry, zoology, horticulture, etc.

Almost all of the colleges might have closed admissions for this year. So, better enquire once with that college you wish to get admission so that you may still have a chance. Good luck.

There are a lot of opportunities after completing B.Sc (Hons) in botany. Botany is not only the study of plants but also of trees. This is a very broad course and it has applications in the biotechnology field as well. Global warming and other environmental problems (which will be forever) will help in building the scope of this branch. After completing B.Sc (Hons) in botany, you can study additional 2 years which will help you in grabbing a PG degree or you can opt for courses such as biotech, microbiology or molecular biology, etc.

If you take my suggestion then you should stick to botany, you may pursue Masters in that specialised subject.

If you are unsure, then go with Botany. It is easier of the two and has same scope as zoology. Try to consult your teachers too. They know you better and would tell you accordingly.
