No, without having Biology as your core subject in Class 12, you are not eligible to opt for an MSc in Botany. Botany is a specialisation of Biology subject which includes topics like Genetics, Cell Biology, Microbiology, etc.

Why not! If you have obtained your bachelor's degree in BSc Botany or a discipline related to Biology, you're eligible to go for an MSc in Botany. However, eligibility is not the only reason you should choose the MSc Botany course. Botany subject is all about studying the plant's life.
