Yes you can pursue MSW course or Master of Social Work course without pursuing a BSW or Bachelor of Social Work course. You should be a graduate to pursue MSW. Make sure that you have secured at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply for the course. Also ensure that you have studied from a recognised institute. It is not compulsory that you should have completed BSW course to pursue MSW though BSW graduates would be able to better understand cencepts covered MSW course.

Yes, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) offers BSW course in distance mode. The minimum duration of the course is three years and maximum duration is 6 years. The course fee is around INR 12,000. If you have completed 10+2 or 10+3 or any qualification equivalent to Class 12 you can apply for the course. You can apply for the course at any age.

Yes, you can pursue BSW course after retiring from government service at any age. Usually, the course does not have any minimum or maximum age limit. So, you would be eligible to apply for the course. You would be provided admission based on your Class 12 marks or marks in equivalent exam.
