To get admission to BTech at SRM TRP Engineering College, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria. Applications of ineligible candidates are treated as invalid. To be eligible for the course, the aspirant should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board and with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Moreover, students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Vocational stream (vocational groups in Engineering/Technology) as per the Government of Tamil Nadu are also eligible for admission.

Aspiring students can appear for either state-level KCET/ COMED-K UGET or national-level JEE Main entrance exams. Those who want to get admission to a four-year BTech at Bangalore Institute of Technology, must pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects from Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University. For candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC categories 40%, aggregate is required.

IILM University Gurgaon considers CUET score for admission to BTech course. Besides, qualifying the entrance exam, candidates also need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects are eligible for admission. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme offered by any of the affiliated institution of Bhabha University must meet the minimum eligibility requirement set up by the University. Bahbha University eligibility criteria for B.Tech programme is Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject or Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech course through Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT) must have done Class 12 from Kerala State Board or a recognised board in Science stream with Mathematics and Physics and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate.
