btech Eligibility

Rayat Bahra University (RBU) has laid down the eligibility criteria for admission to its B.Tech programme. Academic requirements include passing 10+2 (or equivalent) in Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects Minimum marks for candidates in general section is 55% aggregate in 12 Subjects, while 50% aggregate marks are required for reserved subjects . Most of the B.Tech programs of the university also require a qualification in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) major, with specific qualifications and weightage varying depending on the program and holders of the university Diploma in engineering and engineering the concerned candidates may apply for direct admission to the second year of B.Tech programme. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme offered by any of the affiliated institution of Bhabha University must meet the minimum eligibility requirement set up by the University. Bahbha University eligibility criteria for B.Tech programme is Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject or Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks. Candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category from Madhya Pradesh must obtain at least 40% aggregate in qualifying examination. 

Bhabha University also offers admission to the BTech programme thrugh lateral entry for which, candidate must have passed a regular three-year Engineering Diploma programme examination in appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology from AICTE or UGC recognised institute or must have passed BSc degree examination with Mathematics at Class 12 and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates from Madhya Pradesh) in the qualifying examination.

Academic Requirements: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or an equivalent test from a board or institution that is recognized.Subjects covered in the Qualifying Examination: Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics are required courses for candidates to take.Minimum Percentage: Depending on their category (general, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.), candidates must have received a minimum percentage in the qualifying exam. Generally, applicants must have completed the qualifying exam with a minimum cumulative score of 45–50%.Exam Score: The candidate's performance in state- or national-level entrance exams, such as the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test), JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination), or other comparable exams accepted by the university, may determine their admission to the B.Tech programme at SPMVV.

For undergraduate (UG) courses like B.Tech at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. For postgraduate (PG) courses like M.Tech candidate need a relevant Bachelor degree with at least 55% aggregate marks. B.Ed. applicants must hold a Bachelor or Master degree with a minimum of 50% marks or alternatively a BE/B.Tech degree with a specialization in Science/Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Selection for all courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination with additional entrance tests for Ph.D. candidates exempted for those with valid national/state Ph.D. scores.
