Candidates seeking admission to a BTech course at Calicut University must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also, they must attain a minimum of 45% aggregate in their final exam of Class 12. The students whose results are pending can also apply for the course provisionally. Moreover, candidates must have academic certificates for verification purposes. KEAMJEE Main + CAP are the entrance exams accepted by the Calicut University for admission to the BTech course.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech course at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with Maths as a compulsory subject:

NEHU admissions generally begin in May every year. Admission to most of the courses at the university is entrance exam/merit-based. For admission to BTech at OIST Bhopal, apart from JEE rank, it is also crucial that applicant meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Thus, a student need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible for admission. At the time of form filling and admission confirmation, student should carry the pass certificate (original/photocopy). It is required for verification purposes.

To apply for BTech course at RKDF University Bhopal students need to meet the last educational qualification as per course requirement. Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with 45% aggregate. However, the university also accepts CUET and JEE Main scores.
