R.V.S College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET) is comparable in quality level with Vinoba Bhave University (VBU). They are all highly respectable organizations with proven success records in academics and employment. However, VBU has a number of advantages over RVSCET, including:

VBU is a state-owned university while RVSCET is a leading private engineering college. In other words, RVSCET is more expensive compared to VBU.

As per the official website of Vinoba Bhave University, admission to the BCom course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Students are offer admission on the basis of Class 12 exam. Further, candidates must apply via its chancellor's portal i.e., Jharkhand University. 

Vinoba Bhave University offers BCom course via its affiliated colleges. The total seats reservaed for the BCom course is around 9915 across all the colleges. Yes, there is a three-years BCom course at Vinoba Bhave University. The BCom course is offered as a full-time course consisting of six semesters. Candidates must at least have 50% aggregate in the Class 12 exam. Selection for the UG course will be based on the merit lists prepared based on rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Jharkhand and the VBU. Preference is given to the CUET holder students.

As per the official website of VBU, there is no reservation policy mentioned for the seats. Since the mission to the BA course is subject to the CUET exam the university might follow the reservation policy for the CUET exam counseling. VBU offers a total of 63,715 seats for its BA course. 

Vinoba Bhave University offers only 64 seats for its MSc students via its afiiliated college, i.e.,  Giridih College. To secure the seats candidates must have a valid qualification and score in the CUET-PG course. Further, there might be seat reservation for students belonging to certain categories. 

Yes, there is a seat reservation for the MSc course at VBU. The university folows the reservation rules of the Jharkhand state government framed for the purpose of admission. 5% seats will be reserved for NRI categories, but no caste reservation shall be applied to such category of candidates. In case candidates of a particular category are not available, the vacant seats will be treated as generai. 3% of the course seats are reserved for Girls, 2% for Dependent of Ex-Serviceman, etc. 

Vinoba Bhave University MA admission dates are inclusive of CUET-PG dates 2026. As per the latest schedule, the application window will be closed on January 14, 2026. The exam is tentatively scheduled for March, 2026.

 VBU - Vinoba Bhave University application form for the postgraduate course is out mostly in month of August or we can say that between the months of June and August. Category Weightage (percent of marks to be added in the relevant marks obtained by the candidate in the subject concerned for preparing merit list.

Vinoba Bhave University hasn't released any official in-house dates for MA admission for 2025. The PG cousre application usually begins in August and includes dates of application form fill-up, provisional merit lists, counseling and ccertificateverification, and admission form fill-up. The merit list for admission will be prepared based on the CUET-PG score and if seats remain vacant candidates without a CUET score will be considered for admission. 

No, candidates cannot join Vinoba Bhave University MA after Class 12 since admission to the PG-level course requires candidates to have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 40% aggregate. Further, the VBU admission policy requires candidates to have a valid CUET PG score to be eligible for the MA course. Also, CUET score holders have to participate in the entire counselling rounds for seat allocation.

Vinoba Bhave University offers BSc course via its affiliated colleges. The total seats reservaed for the BA course is around 11812 across all the colleges altogether. Yes, there are seat reservation for the BSc BEd course at Vinoba Bhave University. The seat reservation are offered as per Government of Jharkhand Rules. Seats left unfilled in any of the reserved category by reason of the fact that no eligible candidate is available in the respective category shall be filled up by admitting candidates available from other reserved categories keeping the hierarchy of reserve/unreserved into consideration.  

Vinoba Bhave University does offers four-years BSc course. The BSc course is offered as an integrated course with BE.d course. Candidates must atleast have 50% aggregate in the Class 12 exam.
