btech Eligibility

DY Patil University Pune considers JEE Main or MHT CET score for admission to BTech courses. Besides, candidates must also complete Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BTech course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• 80% aggregate of Mathematics + Physics + Optional subject (as per selection criteria) in Class 12 from the recogniwed Board
• Minimum 8 CGPA & above, with no backlogs in Semester 1 of the BTech programme
• Freeship & Scholar category Scholarships put together, constitute 5 % of the General Category intake for each branch and are applicable for the entire programme duration, starting first year

In order to be eligible for B.Tech in GL Bajaj Group of Institutions - GLBGI you have to pass class 12th with 50% and above. Also, Physics and Mathematics should be included in your subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, and Engineering Drawing. For SC/ST candidates the minimum percentage is 45. For BTech admissions, the JEE Main score is accepted, and the minimum cut-off of the JEE percentile varies every year depending upon applicants.

In order to get admission to BTech at Ramaiah University, students need to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 45% with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory courses along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics or Computer science. Students who belong to reserved category are required to get 40% aggregate in the same. The eligibility criteria for BTech (Lateral Entry) is also the same.

At the UG level, RV University offers a BTech programme to the students. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by RV University with a valid score in KCET or RVSAT exam can apply.

The minimum eligibility & selection criteria for admission to BTech programme is given below: 

Students should have passed Class 12 with at least 75% marks and have a valid score/rank in JEE Main and DASA UG. Candidates who clear this criteria can fill out an application form online from the college's official website for admission to BTech course at IIITDM Jabalpur.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCB or PCM are eligible to take admission. In addition, the students with 80% and above aggregate in Class 12 (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards) are exempted from the selection process. Further, depending upon the BTech specialisation, the candidate should have studied particular subjects in class 12, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Biology (PCB). Candidates who have qualified JEE Main/ MHT CET/ CUET/ SAT India/ SSPU Entrance Test/ PERA CET need to sumit their applications for the BTech course. Additionally, aspirants must complete Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for the reserved category with Maharashtra domicile) to apply for BTech course. Admission will be provided based on entrance exam score followed by a counselling round.
