btech Eligibility

The candidate must have passed class 12 with at least 45% of the possible marks in mathematics, chemistry, and physics to be eligible for a B Tech at Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management. The EAMCET entrance test is the basis for admission to HITAM. Applicants for B.Tech programmes must submit the TS EAMCET application. The next round of candidates must show up for the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad, administered TS EAMCET. Following the results announcement, a cutoff is made public, and candidates must reach the TS EAMCET cutoff. Candidates who satisfy the cutoff must take part in the counselling procedure. The first option that candidates must choose when filling out the choice form is HITAM Hyderabad.

Admission to BTech programme is granted based on score obtained by eligible candidates in COMEDK/ AIEEE/ JEE Main. For Karnataka state candidates, KCET score is considered by the institute for granting admission.

T. John Institute of Technology is located in Bangalore and was established in 2004. It has seven Departments such as

• Computer Science and Engineering (established in 2006, total intake of 60students), offering MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Networks Engineering and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering recognised by Govt. of Karnataka and AICTE, New Delhi (Courses)
• Information Science and Engineering (established in 2007, total intake of 60students), offering BE in Information Science
• Electronics Communication and Engineering (established in 2006, total intake of 120 students), offering BEprogramme in Electronics and Communication Engineering and MTech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and PhD in Electronics Communication and Engineering, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
• Mechanical Engineering (established in 2009, total intake of 120 students), offering BE in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering (established in 2012, total intake of 60 students), offering BE in Civil Engineering

Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, as well as one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects, to be eligible for B.Tech (ME) at Monad University. They should have received at least 45% (40% for reserved category) in these subjects combined. Candidates for B.Tech (ME) Lateral Entry must have passed a Diploma examination with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) in the relevant branch of Engineering/Technology, or a B.Sc. Degree with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) and have studied Mathematics at the XII level. These eligibility criteria appear reasonable and in line with standard requirements for B.Tech programs, in my opinion.
