Apeejay Stya University offers BTech course for aduration of four years. Unlike other Universities JEE is not required for the admission to Apeejay Stya University. The candidates have to fullfill certain eligibilty criteria like 12 years of school education with minimum 50% aggregrate  atleast Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Bio-Technology as an optimal subject. And for the selection process candidates have to appear for the CUET exam and personal interview.

Selection for UPES Dehradun BTech course depends on JEE Main/CUET UG scorecard. Alternatively, 50 percentile in SAT India Score and 75%-80% in Class 12. Or, you can also appear for UPESESAT which is conducted by the university. The eligibility depends on minimum marks of 50% in aggregate for Class 10 and Class 12. The subject combination is as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in Class 12.

Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification in later stages of admission. Besides, eligibility, aspirants must also meet the selection criteria. Aspirants must qualify JEE Main, CUET, SAT or ACT to get admission to BTech course. Candidates can also appear for SNUSAT conducted by the university for BTech course.

It is necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Thus, the aspirants who have completed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science are eligible to apply for a BTech course in HBTU. Moreover, for BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST).

The eligibility for the B.Tech course in any of the college is that the student must have to pass his +2 or its equivalent degree from the recognised university or college.
