The selection criteria at Anantha lakshmi institute of technology and sciences is primarily uses entrance exam scores and merit based selection for admission to various programs. For BTech the selection is based on Ap EAMCET score (70% of seats) and JEE main.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Telangana, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TS EAMCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

For Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad students must have passed 12 from any board with minimum aggregate of 45% At the stage of first round of admission it is primarily based on entrance exams like TS EAMCET or JEE (Main ) and later called for counselling. Also, 70% are filled via TS EAMCET and the remaining 30 of the seats come through direct admissions based on counselling category.

At Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs is based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for the General category, and 40% for BC, MBC, DNC, and SC/ST categories. The selection is merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
