MREC Admission Process

Malla Reddy College of Engineering offers multiple specialisations in BTech, MTech and MBA programmes. Students are required to clear an offline entrance exam for admission to all these programmes. The 30 per cent of the total seats are reserved for Management quota while 70 per cent seats of each course are offered on the basis of scores in the entrance exam, EAMCET. For the Management quota, a candidate’s performance is evaluated on the basis of previous qualifying exam/ degree.

Important details regarding MREC admission process are as follow:

UG Courses

  • For BTech, candidates have to qualify TS EAMCET conducted by Telangana Government. Qualified candidates of JEE Main are also eligible for admission.

PG Courses

  • For MTech, candidates have to qualify with a valid score in GATE/ TS PGECET
  • For MBA, candidates must have a valid score or rank in TS ICET

MREC Scholarships

The MREC scholarships are applicable to only merit list students and not for the Management quota students. Nearly 60% of the students also secure scholarships from the Telangana Government. Students can easily get bank loans from the college because MRCE has a Union Bank facility for loans. The Government of Telangana supports students financially by offering Telangana Epass. The purpose of Telangana Epass is to provide scholarships to the Financial weak students of all the categories such as SC, ST, OC, PWD, BC etc. The scholarship is offered to the students having annual income below 2 lakh except General category/ OC having annual income less than 1 lakh.

Peaceful campus Good environment .

Placements: The highest package of our college is 14 Lacs. Average package is 3.5 Lacs in college. From CSE department it seems, good placements and good faculty, 60 percent of students gets placements, good at placements and well experienced facilities available in the campus.

Infrastructure: Hostel food is good and environment is superb in hostel. Infrastructure of my course fees is 1lakh four thousand basically government provided scholarship of 36000. Good at medical facilities. Sports and games are conducted. Canteen ...

The college provides lots of placements, and it is one of the top colleges in Hyderabad.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in on-campus placements. They also provide CRT classes to improve our skills to crack the interview. They provide English and communication classes during college hours for improving our skills. They will train us well.

I am satisfied, and there are good placements and nice faculty members.

Placements: About 80% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Here the salary package depends on your capability. Here many companies visit to offer placements. Many courses are offered here like CSE, IT, mechanical, civil and mining. New courses like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, etc., are offered.

Our college has a great infrastructure.

Placements: Above 95% of the students are placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Special programs held are artificial intelligence and machine learning and cybersecurity. Our college students got a lot of internships in the third and second years.

My suggestion is you should go by convenience of commuting to college from your home town, their overall ranking, availability of hostel facilities etc. Frankly speaking what happens after four years is any one's guess.
