MREC Admission Process
Malla Reddy College of Engineering offers multiple specialisations in BTech, MTech and MBA programmes. Students are required to clear an offline entrance exam for admission to all these programmes. The 30 per cent of the total seats are reserved for Management quota while 70 per cent seats of each course are offered on the basis of scores in the entrance exam, EAMCET. For the Management quota, a candidate’s performance is evaluated on the basis of previous qualifying exam/ degree.

MREC Scholarships
The MREC scholarships are applicable to only merit list students and not for the Management quota students. Nearly 60% of the students also secure scholarships from the Telangana Government. Students can easily get bank loans from the college because MRCE has a Union Bank facility for loans. The Government of Telangana supports students financially by offering Telangana Epass. The purpose of Telangana Epass is to provide scholarships to the Financial weak students of all the categories such as SC, ST, OC, PWD, BC etc. The scholarship is offered to the students having annual income below 2 lakh except General category/ OC having annual income less than 1 lakh.

My suggestion is you should go by convenience of commuting to college from your home town, their overall ranking, availability of hostel facilities etc. Frankly speaking what happens after four years is any one's guess.
