To be eligible for the BTech course at K J Somaiya School of Engineering, candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 45% marks collectively. The basic eligibility requirement for admissions to the BTech course at Gauhati University is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%. ITS Engineering College provides scholarships to BTech students under its 'Institute Merit Scholarship Scheme'.
