btech Eligibility

Primarily the entrance exam performance of candidates forms the basis of selecting them for B.E./B.Tech courses offered by A.R.J College of Engineering and Technology or ARJCET. Except in a few courses, students need to attend counseling based on TNEA in most of the B.E./B.Tech courses, after class 12 board exams. Though students appear based on their marks of qualifying exams, some cases might be through management quota too, considering merit as well. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which include a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for general category students, and a lower percentage for reserved categories.

The admission requirement for B.Tech at NMIMS Shirpur includes the candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examination conducted by any recognised central/ state Board. Such candidates must have taken physics, chemistry and mathematics as core courses. Besides, there are NMIMS-CET (Common Entrance Test) and JEE Main that the candidates have to take. NMIMS-CET is a two hours examination which evaluates a candidate in physics maths and chemistry. There are totally 120 questions in the exam and a candidate requires at least 60% marks to produce for admission. The qualifying percentile for appearing in JEE Main is between 60-70 percentile.

The selection criteria for B.E. or B.Tech courses at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) in Davangere, Karnataka is as follows: 

10+2 or equivalent

You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

Subjects

You must have passed Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one optional subject from Chemistry, Technology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics.

English

English must be one of the languages of study.

Category

Candidates belonging to OBC, SC, and ST must be domiciled in Karnataka state.

Educational Qualification
You must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics, along with one other subject such as Chemistry.

Minimum Marks:
A minimum aggregate score of 50% in these subjects is generally required.

Entrance Exam:
Admission is based on performance in the SRMJEEE or other recognized exams like JEE Main.

Age Criteria:

To be eligible for admission to the B.E. or B.Tech course at Canara Engineering College, you must meet the following criteria: 

Pass the 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%

Have appeared for at least one of the following entrance exams: CET, COMEDK-UGET, JEE, or KRLMPCA UGCET

For SC, ST, Category 1, and OBC Category candidates, the minimum aggregate is 40%

The final selection is based on merit in KCET or JEE Main. 40% of the total intake is filled through KCET, while 30% each is allotted under Konkani quota and NRI/Others.
