Yeah, you can apply for B.Tech at MNNIT after your diploma, but here is the thing: you'll need to crack JEE Main since there's no direct second-year admission. Your Diploma will grant you eligibility, but you'll be competing for a first-year spot with everyone else. Just make sure your Diploma is AICTE-approved and you meet their basic criteria. So, yeah, give JEE Main a shot!

The B E /B Tech course at B S Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management determines its admission criteria based on academic qualification followed by entrance test performance. Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aggregate (45% for SC/ST categories). Preferably, the admission is given based on the JEE Main score or on the institute's own entrance test. Shortlisted candidates are then asked for counseling. Additionally, management quota seats are available in which the candidate will be selected according to merit and eligibility.

You need atleast 60% to get in BTech at Calcutta University as per the eligibility requirements set by the university. Hence with a score of 55% in Class 12 you are not eligible. But you can apply to different colleges and universities.

If you want to go for B.Tech then it is mandatory for you to be passed out from 12th class with 45% and after this you have to appear for GUJCET or JEE Mains exams and need to clear them. They are being organized by the Admission committee for professional courses and after this counseling will be done where you will be allowed by the seat if you are an eligible candidate.
