You should pursue higher Education in Food Technology
to dive in deeper, students can pursue M.Tech or M.Sc. In Food Technology on the basis of their interest and eligibility. Both are 2-year courses. Pursuing higher education can help secure better salary packages and also acquire more knowledge about the subject. If you have the mind of a scientist, then after pursuing Masters in Food Technology, you can also go for Ph.D. in Food Technology and carry your research.

But if you want to apply for MSc in Environmental science, it is under the school of Human and Environmental science. The Candidates with a Bachelor's degree (Majors) in Environmental Science /Botany /Zoology /Chemistry / Biotechnology /Biochemistry /Geography

You can pursue. If your interest in M.Sc clinical food nutrition which is really good, then the best thing would be to appear GATE or NET, clear the exam and go for research. Else, IISC conducts a written test for admission to integrated Ph.D (Masters+Ph.D), you can get into other institutions also. There is very good scope of pursuing clinical food nutrition after BTech.
Good luck.

You have already done your Bachelor's. There's no point in doing it again. That too, in relatively the same programme with different specialisations. Try to get into a Masters program atleast.
