Always go for B.Tech at NITs as it is more conventional and has better job opportunities and scope in comparison to that of dual degree from IIMs as they don't have that big alumni network and also these things are being introduced. so these days any time go for B.Tech from NiTs over any IIM dual degree but yes later on after 5-10 years depending upon scenarios and market situation this can be changed.

Of course, you can. It is actually a smart way to get both technical and management knowledge and skills in your field. Both BTech and MBA are powerful degrees, recognised internationally.

I would just suggest that you choose the specialisation smartly. For example, an MBA in IT, Operations, or Business Analytics will go a long way.

BTech Course Admission

For admissions into BTech courses offered by Manipal University, admissions will be done based on only MET scores. No other scores will be accepted for admission.

The first year focuses on all-round foundation, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, and Basic Engineering. Students from all branches learn same topics to develop basic knowledge.

The BTech curriculum of IIT Palakkad follows a choice-based credit system where students must complete Institute Core (42 credits), Program Major Core (44 credits), and various electives.

The Computer Science and Engineering department at the BTech batch of IIT Palakkad has a sanctioned intake of 60 seats, including 48 gender-neutral seats and 12 female-only supernumerary seats. 

To improve gender balance, IIT Palakkad adds 20% supernumerary seats for female candidates over the base intake. This means if a branch has 40 base seats, 8 additional seats are created exclusively for women, increasing total capacity.
