DTU admission 2026 to several programmes is based on entrance exam scores and merit. DTU which is well known for its BTech programme provides admission for BTech based on JAC Delhi, JEE Main results, and others. The JAC Delhi manages the entire counselling process. All other courses at DTU need admission through university/national-level entrance exams, including UCEED, GATE, CAT, MAT, and others.

Each person will have a different answer for this question. If you have a lot of passion for a particular BTech branch and have a set future plan in mind, you should surely go for branch over college.
But, if you are not sure about your future career path and are not passionate about a particular branch, you can go for a top rated college over the BTech branch, the one with excellent networking opportunities and placement support.
