BTech tuition fees at GGSIPU is INR 7.6 Lacs for all BTech courses in the academic year 2026. However, candidates are also required to pay other fees in the form of university charges, alumni deposit, development and infrastructure fees and others on top of the aforementioned tuition fees.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.
Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.

BTech (lateral) eligibility criteria at GGSIPU requires candidates to clear a Diploma course with a minimum duration of three years from the respective engineering or technology field. Some of the Diploma course fields accepted for BTech (lateral entry) admissions are as follows:
