If you have the same JEE rank and get a seat in a govt. college, always choose govt. over private. This is because government colleges charge much lower fees, have better brand value, and give you a stronger return on investment. In Nashik, there is only 1 government engineering college out of 30+ total colleges, so a government seat is rare and precious.

The JEE Mains cutoff of 2026 has not been released yet. However, in 2025 the closing rank for the general category for BTech in AI and ML was 1843344. In 2024 the closing rank for SDEC BTech AI and ML was 737084.

Those who have 60% marks in Class 12 can get admission to the Sunder Deep Engineering College BTech course. The students must have PCM in their class 12. Students can refer to the table below for eligibility criteria of the BTech programme at SDEC:

No, OP Jindal Global University does not offer direct admissions and does not reserve any seats under special management quota. As such students must get admission purely on merit alone with institute entrance exam as well as the other stages of admissions being required for admission.
