There is no restriction streamwise if you want to do MBA. Either you do Bachelors in engineering, medical, law humanities or commerce. Anyone who fulfils the basic eligibility criteria (i.e. 60%+ in graduation and entrance exam) can do MBA.

Dear Hartej,
With no further doubts, B.Tech in CS from DTU should be your topmost priority. It is one of the best engineering college in Delhi and is also considered equivalent to NIT, Delhi. Thapar University is nowhere compared to DTU even if you do integrated 5 years course. Hope this helps.
Good Luck. Upvote the answer if this helps you.

One of the major resources that helped me was going through the website to understand the subjects in each stream. Your area of interest also matters. So, find your area of interest, talk to your seniors and choose the best option.

SP Jain is definitely the best college among the lot. For the simple reason that their admission process is rigorous and looks for overall development compared to other colleges. They do not just look for marks over the years, but you as a person and a leader. I can't speak about other colleges personally, but being here for 3 months it definitely feels good to be here. My peers are all equally smart but have a different perspective, that helps in overall development as a person. For PGDM admission, please visit this link:

Hello Hartej,
Private colleges have to come up with newer gimmicks to attract students. Doing MBA is of course dream of many engineering graduates. Hence Thapar has come out with this. Students also get benefited in that after graduation, they don't have to struggle to clear many entrance exams for MBA. About placements, Thapar indeed has good reviews. However, it depends on the economic conditions of the country when you will pass out.
