MBA in HR has slightly lesser salary due to its nature of being an office job, so probably lesser workload. In marketing, if you get sales profile then you have to probably travel a lot. Hence, accordingly, salary and incentives are also more. HR is better if you want a stable work-life balance.
Best regards.

Hi buddy,
On this score in your category, I strongly feel that you will surely get admission but things may change as per merit list and cut-offs. If not, you can surely try and apply for SIES, IES so that these opportunities don't go out of your hand. But probably you have high chance of getting into MS at Welingkar.
All the best and Cheer up!

After having a look at your percentage, it looks pretty tough for you to get admission in MBA. Whereas MBA requires at least 50%- OBC/General and 45% for SC/ST candidate to qualify. Saying about perfect age to study, there is no age bar for study you can learn anything at any age.
Best of Luck for your future.

2. Technical (MS, supply chain and operations): These majors prepare you to be highly employable and you will often have a good chance at an above average starting salary.
3. General (Management, international business and entrepreneurship): This is the most worthless type of major
