• GIBS' Finishing School (Communication, Grooming, Aptitude Testing & Interview Skills)
• Starting in their first trimester, GIBS provides training in the following areas: communication, professional appearance/grooming, aptitude testing, and interview skills through its Finishing School Program (CPMP).
• GIBS Resume Workshop & Interview Preparation
• GIBS facilitates training on how to write a resume and provides training for individuals in the interview process. This includes training with mock interviews, group interviews and aptitude testing.
• GIBS Placement Office
• The GIBS Placement Office is responsible for connecting students with potential employers and providing job-search resources for students. The Placement Office also organizes on-campus recruitment drives and maintains relationships with employers.
• Networking Opportunities and Industry (Guest Speakers)
• GIBS Partners with Alumni of GIBS and GIBS hosts Guest Speakers so students have an opportunity to build their networks through interactions.
• Internships and Live Projects
• Students obtain hands-on experience through internships and projects created from real businesses, which are included in the curriculum.
• GIBS' Continuous Skill Development
• Students receive ongoing training from GIBS to develop competencies that will enable them to succeed in the workplace, including personality, communication, and professionalism.
• Approximately 200+ companies recruit employees from GIBS in various industries to provide students with additional job placement opportunities.
• Placement Opportunities
• Individuals will have multiple placement interviews with various companies and be able to continue to apply to their preferred organisation (s) later in the recruitment process.
