From my experience as an ex-student, the faculty at PIBM for the PGDM/MBA programs has wide experience and is supportive. They come with an industry or academic background, which helps in relating classroom concepts to real-world business scenarios.

They are accessible for doubts and try to help students improve concepts and skills, especially when it comes to preparation for exams, projects, and presentations. Like any institute, the benefit students get depends on how actively they engage in classes and seek guidance, but overall, the faculty's efforts do contribute positively to the learning experience.

Yes, most elite MBA programs require work experience. Candidates need to have at least 2 to 5 years of work experience. This tells universities that you can put your knowledge into classroom discussions.
