XIM University Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
The application deadline for admission to MBA/ EMBA at XIM Bhubaneshwar is Dec 10, 2025. MBA admission requires to have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. XIM University Bhubaneswar Admission Process 2025
The admission process includes the application process, selection round, cutoff, merit list or counselling, and other steps. The final selection for the MBA will be based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam and interview round and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience. Step 1: XIM University Bhubaneswar Application
The mode of application is online (www.xub.edu.in) for all courses. Currently, the applications are open for various courses. Candidates have to submit the application fee along with application form for Xavier University Bhubaneswar admission. The applicant will be notified by email about the acceptance of the form.
Step 2: Selection Rounds
XIM University considers national-level entrance exam scores as well as conducts its exam to provide admission to a few courses. For merit-based courses, merit in the last qualifying exam is the determining factor. Personal interview is the final selection round for admission to all the courses.
- MBA Admission: WAT, GD & PI will be held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai (if held offline).
- MBA (UMG): a GATE/ NATA/ CEED score also can be accepted, but in that case, only candidates with 60% aggregate or above in graduation can apply.
- MTech: Candidates will be shortlisted based on past academic performance/ extracurriculars/ or XEEE score/ SOP, followed by a Personal Interview round
Step 3: Merit List and Counselling
The university releases a merit list as per the performance of the candidates in the selection rounds. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling. After document verification, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seats in the university. The regular MBA programme will start in the middle of June 2025.

No, BTech seats cannot be availed of without the entrance exam at XIM University. Admission into UG programmes at XIM University, including BTech, is based on the JEE Main scores. Furthermore, admission to the BTech course is based on registration for the JEE Main, appearing for the examination, and obtaining a valid score. Subsequently, the seats are allotted by JoSAA counselling, based on merit, that too with regard to JEE Main scores, in multiple rounds.
Admission to BTech courses at XIM University is provided to candidates who have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination with an aggregate score of 60% in the science stream. These include subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Apart from this, applicants also require a valid score in JEE Main entrance exams or Xavier Engineering Selection Test, XEST. The selection is based on the entrance exam score, performance in personal interviews, and Class 10 academic records as well as Class 12 academic records.
