No, you cannot join NMIMS without NMAT. Candidates need to appear for the course specific entrance exams conducted by the University. NMIMS also accepts several national-level entrance tests to admits students for UG, PG and PhD courses.

Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any stream and at least 50% aggregate in the degree course can apply. The aspirants should have passed the degree course from a recognised university. Further, for verification purposes, aspirants must hold the important documents (original and copy).

To get admission to MBA course at MDU University students need to fulfill eligibility and selection criteria. Admission to this course is entrance based and as it is a PG degree course, students need to be graduated before applying for the course. Candidates need to pass an entrance exam conducted by MDU Rohtak. After qualifying the entrance exam, aspirants are called for group discussion and a personal interview round. Once the selection rounds are over, MDU releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates.

For FPM admission, RBS conducts its own entrance exam—Rajagiri Research Aptitude Test (RRAT), a written/ computer-based test. Further, candidates who have appeared and qualified any of UGC/CSIR JRF are exempted from appearing for written test.
