Hi,
In order to take admission to an MBA program, there are multiple entrance exams conducted like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MH-CET etc and either one of the entrance test scores is required depending on the college you're targeting.
However, there is no such compulsion to appear for all the exams for entry into MBA program, but doing so gives you an added advantage and opens multiple options if you want to enroll in top-ranking colleges. Many top colleges have their own exams for students taking admissions into MBA/PGDM program. Hello,
In my opinion, both the courses are career-oriented, the only difference between the two programs is the syllabus followed. PGDM follows the one set by the college academics, while the MBA follows the University syllabus. However, when it comes to employment, both the course students have equal opportunities. You may want to check out the PIBM, Pune, where training provided are industry-oriented. The students get abundant industry exposure in the form of dual internships, corporate sessions, industry visits, live projects, to name a few. Hi,
So let us have a look at both the options here:
a) Government exams: For a position of merely 400 openings, more than 2 Lacs of graduates apply for the job. That's how intense the competition is right now, even if you clear the exams, you may have to wait for many years before you actually begin your career. B) MBA/PGDM: As an MBA graduate, the options for employment open up in every sector. You will have a competitive advantage over your counterparts when it comes to starting a new venture or join an MNC. You may check about the course plan offered in an MBA/PGDM programme here.

Hi,
Whenever you are considering any college for pursuing PGDM or MBA just the placement figures cannot be the only factor to be considered. You should try to collect information about the following:

C) brands coming for the placement
D) lastly the placement figures with respect to different specializations like marketing, Finance, HR etc. So, firstly, brand-wise Welingkar Mumbai is a very strong brand as compared to BIMTECH Greater Noida. Welingkar is a very old and strong
