You must have 50% marks in graduation (any stream). Apart from this, you need to clear any national level entrance exam such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ LPUNEST/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. After qualifying written exam you have to go through GD or PI. Many colleges offer this course in India with different specializations. Give your best to join top colleges as they increase the chances to get placed right after your Masters at a good package. There are a few good colleges which offer dual specialisation.

It depends on your interest. If you have skill, then you can do best in your area after B.Tech. If you have many co-curricular activities, good percentage, and good in English, then go for CAT. If you are good at technical, then go for M.Tech through GATE.

Individual choice drive by long term goals . if one wants to remain in technical it better to do MTech. If you want to move up through Management hierarchy, BTech + MBA would be recommended. Also MBA can be done later after some experience, but doing MTech may be liitle tough.
