Well GLIM takes students based on their profile. You have an average profile and also the job experience matters I.e in which domain you had an experience. And also, it takes the cream layer since it doesn't have huge strength. Only 95-99%ilers in CMAT that too with an extraordinary profile can make it to GLIM as it also takes students from other entrance exam scores.

Well being a student of Science doesn't really matter of you wish to pursue management as that is a branch which anyone can opt for. If you have not given any of the entrance exams then getting into MBA this year will be difficult as AICTE will reject your application without an entrance score. And yes, there is no such MBA college called IMF. Can you recheck the name or type the name of the college and not just the abbreviation.

Hii Tarun,
Go through the link below:

If you wish to do PGDM program this year then search for the colleges which still has their admission process open. Also, if you want to do PGDM next year then I would suggest you to try for:
FORE School of Management, LBSIM, SIBM, SCMHRD, Nirma University, IIM Ghaziabad, IMT, BIMM, etc.

Accounts and finance department. But MBA is an umbrella course and there are no classifications as such.

There are 2 options complete B.Tech and give entrance exam or drop now and apply to IGNOU. Since you are from Science background the only option would be management. You can though also pursue BBA LL.B. Or BBA in which economics would be taught.

Hello Sachin, as per my experience of government job exams, there are different government exams but only very few are exclusively for Economics. If you are interested then you can go for School Service Commission or College Service Commission Exams those are held for different subjects. Other than that there are very few exams of Agricultural sector amd Economic Affair Department that may require an Economics graduate. You can also try for UPSC, SSC, IBPS to increase your chances of getting a good job. All the best. You can further search all the government websites and see if there are any vacancies as of now.
