Yes, the teaching method focuses on analytics-led problem solving and human-computer interaction. You get to work on case studies and projects that mirror actual industry scenarios. The curriculum is interactive rather than just based on textbooks. By the end of the MBA, students are equipped with the tools to analyse complex situations.

At Global Institute of Business Studies, attendance and participation in lectures, skill sessions, and assessments are taken seriously because they are part of your academic progress.
If you miss classes regularly, you may have to deal with a few issues:
- You may fall short of required attendance percentage
- You can be barred from internal exams or final exams if attendance is low
- You may miss important skills training, workshops, and assignments
- Faculty may ask you to complete extra work or make-up sessions

Admissions at GIBS are flexible but not strictly 'direct' as the term would imply.
Here's how it works:
Entrance exams are preferred.
- Students can take any of the following: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. to be considered for PGDM admission. Entrance exams will almost always have to be taken; however, depending on the student's GPA, General Admission assessment (skills/achievement), and their performance in both a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI), an applicant might not have to take the entrance exam.
Admissions to the BBA at GIBS do not require an entrance exam.
- Admission is based on the student's marks earn

At GIBS, our reservation policy differs significantly from that of government colleges.
Reservation Process for CAT and MAT Candidates
- At GIBS, we do not follow an established reservation system (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as part of our admission process.
- Additionally, GIBS does not allocate a separate number of seats to candidates based on CAT or MAT category.
How Admissions Work
GIBS uses a merit-based admission process in which all qualified applicants are evaluated for admission based on different criteria:
- Entrance Exam Score (CAT/MAT/Other Exams)
- Academic Record
- Group Discussion/GD
- Personal Interview/PI
- Total Profile & Communication Skills
