In 2024 for B.V.Sc. & A.H. at SKUAST Srinagar, the NEET-UG cutoff ranks for General were around 40,745–42,307; for OBC 64,191–66,487; SC from 187,342–202,937; and ST was 171,545. For EWS, the cutoff went as high as 114,900 in Round 3. Admission is based only on NEET rank, with many cutoffs by category and the counselling rounds.

BVSc is a 5.5 year course, 4.5 year + 1 year internship.
The admission is based on your NEET score. The cutoff is usually low for this course.

For admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) course in West Bengal for the 2025–26 academic year, you have to qualify NEET UG 2025, admission is based on all india quota and state quota
You must have done 10+2 with physics, chemistry, bioloogy and english with minimum marks of 70%

Admission to BVSc course without CET and NEET:
- Some private colleges offer direct admission with management quota seats (50% in 10+2 with PCB)
- Institutional entrance exams like OUAT and BHU UET
- College-specific admissions based on Class 12 marks or academic performance
