There are a few reasons to choose Washington University of Science and Technology, Virginia, rather than California State University, Bakersfield. These include reasons such as online learning programs, academic programs, campus life, etc. WUST offer various online courses in feilds like cyber security, business etc. So overall we can say that the variety that students get at WUST is more as compared to CSUB. Although CSUB is also a good university that offers affordable courses with a great return on investment. CSUB is a public university located in Bakersfield. The university is centrally located on a 375-acre site in southern San Joaquin Valley. Over 9,000 students are there at CSU Bakersfield. It takes part in the NCAA Division I.

For admission to California State University, Bakersfield MBA, the following are the entry requirements:
- A bachelor's degree with at least 2.75 GPA
- GMAT / GRE score. Minimum GMAT score required is 500 / Minimum GRE score is 148 (Verbal Section) and 149 (Quantitative Section)
- Also, submit the English language proficiency score
- A few pre-requisite course knowledge is also required in Business Math & Statistics, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Fundamentals of Economics, Principles of Management

Yes, to get into CSUB, IELTS score can be submitted. The minimum IELTS score required is 5.5 for admission to UG courses. For admission to PG courses, the minimum IELTS score required is 6.5. Minimum scores required in the ELP tests are given as follows:

To take admission into CSU Bakersfield UG and PG courses, the applicants are required to have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. For admission, the applicants must meet the general entry requirements.
