Yes, you can pursue PG Diploma. You may check colleges under SPP. You will not be eligible for most universities in Canada as they require higher grades. Even for SPP, they require atleast 55%. So, check your CGPA equivalency, write to the colleges and then apply.

Hi Gurwinder,
After B.Tech, you can pursue MS or PG Diploma. You must have secured around 75% to be accepted by a good university but different universities have different entry requirements. You must also take the IELTS or TOEFL. You should also get your degree evaluated by WES. Check directly with the colleges or universities before applying. See this:

Some factors which you can consider are:
1. Global exposure
2. Infrastructure
3. Education standards
4. Exposure to different subjects and topics which are not yet introduced in India
5. Research work and many more.
The choice to study in India or abroad including Canada is upto you. You should go abroad if you get into a good recognized university otherwise there are good colleges in India also.

Try in Australia since your academics is low for Canadian colleges. Also your IELTS score, you should retake IELTS. For maximum colleges, abroad, they require an IELTS score of 6.5 with no section less than 6. Email the colleges and check if the present score can be accepted by them or if any bridge course is available.

The comparison can be made between similar things. Dental hygiene and computer engineering, they have absolutely no relation to each other and they are completely different sectors, both are in demand in their respective fields.
