If your son secures very good grades and interested in research he can apply for a MS in mechanical engineering. He can also apply for specialized Masters that is MS in robotics, MS in transport design, MS in manufacturing design, MS in automation, MS in mechatronics, MS in automobiles and many more. Hi,
Both countries are equally good in terms of jobs but Canada is better for renewable energy degree and with CGPA 3, Australia will be easier to get. If you have a good profile in terms of research, extra-curricular and internships you can try Canada first and then Australia.

Hi,
Canada doesn't require SAT firstly, it's Singapore and USA. You also need to take TOEFL/ IELTS and letter of recommendations and transcript from your school to apply. Take a look at the other requirements which might be university specific.

Hi Vaibhav,
For Bachelor's degree at least 5.5 is required for each section and for PG, at least 6 is required in every section and Canadian universities are strict regarding admission requirements. Firstly you should check college websites for admission requirements and also contact them for any bridging courses. If you have a strong profile you will be admitted. Visa officers are not really concerned about the IELTS requirement however if you are poor profile and not confident they will find reasons for rejecting your visa.

Hi Neha,
You can look for Ph.D. options in Canada, obtaining entry to a Ph.D. programme is tough, you must research on the universities, visit their department specific website for Ph.D. information. The process requires that you email the research supervisors and share your research ideas and if they like your idea they will accept you. Course duration may vary from 4 to 5 years or more.
