Hello Jeevan,
If you have plans of coming back to India after completion of your course then I would suggest you to prefer a 2 year Masters program. This is based on the fact that most of the Indian companies prefer candidates who have completed a 2 years Masters degree though you have finished it in 1 year from a reputed university.

If you are a student, then you will not face much questions. They might just ask you about the educational institutions and financial documents.
If you are on a business or work permit, then they will ask you questions about your job and company profile. They might even cross check the information with the company.

Hello Jeevan,
With BE background, you are eligible for 3 types of courses in Canada.
1) Masters (1-2 years program)
2) PG Diploma (1 year program)
3) Certification courses (6 months-1 year)
Few Canadian Universities offer 1 year Masters program. You will get 1 year post study work permit after completing 1 year Masters program. If you pursue 2 years Masters program then you would be given 3 years of work permit.
PG Diploma is one more option. But it is preferred by students whose aggregate is below 65% or 6 CGPA in Bachelors. It is usually a 1 year program and you would be permitted to work for a year after completion of your course. You can

With 70% in Bachelors degree why do you prefer PGD. Definitely you can get into Masters program as 2 backlogs is not an issue at all. Try to score 6.5 in IELTS with no band less than 6. You will definitely get in some of the reputed Universities in Canada.
Some of the universities which I could suggest you based on your Bachelor's aggregate assuming 6.5 IELTS score :
1) Concordia University, Montreal
2) University of Windsor
3) Dalhousie University
4) Carleton University
5) University of Western Ontario
6) NYIT, Vancouver
Try to prepare a strong SOP
Coming to the financial aid :
As per the Canadian Immigration, you can show funds i

Can I know about the stream in which you are pursuing the graduation? As far as your academic scores are concerned with 65% you will be able to get admission in the good colleges in the countries you have mentioned. For Australia and Canada, you need to score 6.5 band in IELTS (6 band in all sections), for the USA, you need to take TOFEL and score good marks in it. You also need to appear for GRE or GMAT exam depending on the field of interest.

In their terms, a post graduate degree means a Ph.D or any degree you pursue after you graduate. When you say you graduated it means you completed your Master's. Now, there are PG Diploma courses too in Canada which are vocational or career oriented courses. A Masters generally lead to research.
