You need to take TOEFL/ IELTS band 6 atleast to apply to canada. Other than this, you may be asked to submit SOP or an essay for the BJH degree. Letter of recommendations from your teachers/ professor. Select the universities as per your preference and apply.
Note: I am not sure how much BMM is related to journalism course but you may try credit transfer if any of the courses are common between the two.
