Yes, it increases your chances but it is not necessary.
So, why do CFA or FRM? These are courses for individuals interested in specific fields. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is for the ones who want to go in money/asset management. Those interested in equity research and analysis finds this course interesting. FRM (Financial Risk Management) is for those interested in risk management of various investments. So pursue these courses only if you want to go into that particular field and are genuinely interested. CFA takes almost one year for each level. There are three such levels. ACCA has the same career prospects as a CA in India. You can practice accounting in any company you wish. You can join consulting companies like Deloitte and PwC, or any other company. Dear Ithakdeep,
To become a chef, you require the right kind of attitude, aptitude and love for food. The more and more inquisitive you are regarding various cuisines, the better the chef, you will become.
To be a Chef, you really don't need a Degree but yes, if you do Hotel Management, it will fine tune your ability and likings. It will expose you to various cuisines in a short time and in a scientific manner. So my suggestion will be to do Hotel Management.
