An astronaut is someone who is giving training by the space flight program to work as the pilots.
Qualifying exam
Bachelors degree in biological science,engineering,mathematics or physical science from a recognized university.
They need to obtain any one of the following degrees from renowned institutes like IISC or IIT.
PhD (Astrophysics)
PhD(Geophysics)
PhD(metaphysics)
After graduation candidates can appear for the entrance exam which is held by the NASA for the recruitment of scientists, Astronauts etc.
You may also find employment in ISRO
There are many openings in ISRO which is conducted for the recruitment of scientists, engineers .

NIFTEM is a university which will give you a degree in food technology and management.
Yes, surely, you can get this university if your rank is under 2 lakhs if you belong to general category.

Which stream of MBA will fetch you a good job? Difficult to answer. Presently though operations, marketing, finance are seeing a huge rush of students. But if you do something on line with your original qualifications, then I feel it would be much better. You can even think of doing one year's executive MBA in IIM's.
