Most colleges require that you pass all core subjects before you can successfully apply for a course in higher education. It could also mean that you can apply for a course in B.Sc. Geology provided you clear your examinations before date of commencement. Moreover, if maths is not one of your core subjects, then you can take the best 4 and apply for B.Sc in geology.

A desktop engineer is responsible for the hardware and operating systems to support business functions. They may or may not support the applications like databases, web services etc.
The network engineer is responsible for the infrastructure that ties all of the systems engineers computers together.
With 'the cloud' terms like cloud architecture and dev ops engineering seem to blur these lines a lot.

Focus on getting good grades in your B.Sc undergraduate study. Once your B.S.c is completed it will open up numerous avenues in the industry which you can pursue. You could also opt to do an M.Sc. which will increase your knowledge base and improve your marketability. B.Sc. has immense scope in the industry and you should focus on studies to get better grades, and prepare for placements, if you want a decent job after your under graduation.

Yes, you can definitely become a pilot after completing B.Tech. There are many Pilot School. You can take details from them. My suggestion is after completing B.tech, you can also be able to join Merchant Navy.
