Working area and job opportunities for planners:
1) Government Sector: Planners are employed by Development Authorities for making Master Plans, Land Use Plans and Development Plans. Apart from Development Authorities there is Town and Country Planning Department known as TCP department under state government. It can be a part of development authority, municipality or a separate division in itself. You might have heard of Planning Commission. Hi Tushar, since 38% is not a recognised score you should first think of studying harder and gaining better qualification unless you want to work in a food joint or retail store or in a petrol pump abroad. So first decide what you want to do and then plan accordingly.
