Usually, students with a variety of backgrounds and experience are accepted to astronomy courses and the entry requirements may be flexible. No particular previous knowledge or experience of astronomy is expected, but you should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in the subject. You will need to show an aptitude for mathematics and physics and other sciences which may aid your application include geology, geography, statistics, environmental science, chemistry and biology. Please check the specific requirements set by your chosen university.

You need to have some work experience. Join a relevant job and show some experience for future prospects. Some jobs are an immediate necessity. Try for them. You should have practical as well as theoretical knowledge.

It might be good, but if you join MBA this year then you will get placement after two years and your salary figure after 2 years will be nice as compared to the salary package which you will get as a fresher.
So, my suggestion is that you must join MBA this year.

These days a large number of engineers are unemployed. Hence it's essential that one must think of those courses which will give better chances of employment. I feel that B.Sc with computers and game designing or web designing will get you job. Go ahead.

For a career in astronomy, you need to be proficient in subjects like physics and mathematics. Even knowledge of chemistry helps to a certain extent. In your HSC you should select science as your major, which will lay the basis to pursue astronomy in your undergraduate and graduate studies.
