There are huge opportunities in the field of banking. Banking includes many departments like management, sales, marketing etc. and hence it requires professionals for every department.
The minimum eligibility to start career in banking is generally a Bachelor's degree. If you are from a non-commerce background, you may start as sales or marketing representative provided you have good communication skill and ability to perform.

It would depend on what you further aspire. You can take higher studies like M.Tech in various fields or branches in petroleum, or take up management courses like full-time MBA or executive MBA or so.

There are few companies which come to hire engineering physics students in core profile, Boston, Texas Instruments being some of them. Most of the students actually go for other roles such as coding or analyst and some of the students go for higher studies. Being a student of IIT Delhi myself, I know that students of this branch are not that happy with curriculum and unless they have deep love for physics, the students always try to get out of this world of physics.
