Hello,
Software Engineering is a 4-year course.
To be able to become a software engineer, you need to have PCM (physics, chemistry and mathematics) combination in your class 12th. After your class 12th board examinations are over, you need to appear for various entrance examinations.
I would suggest, you should appear for IIT-JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions in IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest, you should appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee

Hello Suraj,
If you are planning 7 more year of education after 10th class, standard +2 followed by graduation and then post graduation is ideal path. If you are planning only 3 more years of education then 3 year diploma course is ideal. You can get into job after diploma and enhance your educational skills while on job.

Hello Vishal,
I see that many students get confused with the different names provided by the different institutes for the same course and you are no exception. Computer Engineering and Computer Science Engineering refer to the same course. No course can guarantee you good placements. While it's the college's responsibility to bring in as many relevant companies as possible, getting placed in the company depends on the skills and knowledge of the student. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Hello,
Most of the good courses such as PG Diploma in Mobile Computing by CDAC are for engineers or BCA/MCA/ B.Sc CS students. However, some computer training institutes also offer Mobile Computing and Apps Development courses where eligibility criterion are not very stringiest. You may look for such Institutes in your neighbourhood. There is small caution to you. Without formal Computer Science background you might face challenges in find an appropriate job. I will advice you to go for MCA and specialise in Mobile Computing.

Hello Shubham,
After diploma in computer science, it is better to study B.Tech or B.E. because diploma is not engineering. To increase job opportunity and scope, you should complete your graduation in engineering.
After diploma in computer science, you will also get a job. You also may join in software company like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS and many more. But your salary will be less as you have only diploma degree. Your opportunity will be also less.
So, try to first complete your graduation and then try for a better job. Or, go for further higher study. You may take lateral entry directly in second year of B.Tech if you wish after your diplom
