It is an exam that you have to give for lecturership in senior college.
Eligibility :
1) You must have 55%+ ( B Grade ) at least in M.Com ( you can give exam after completion of your first year M.Com also. )
It is an Central Government exam. You can give SET exam also ( Maharashtra Government ).
If you passed NET, you can apply for all India colleges for Lecturership and if passed SET, you can apply for all Maharashtra colleges for lecturership.

Hi Sandesh,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

As such there is no specific qualification
required for doing B.Tech. food technology.
One should have passed 10+2 board examination
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/biology subjects. A minimum of 50% marks in necessary to apply for this course.The percentage criteria could vary from
college to college.
You need to check all the major universities and engineering colleges.
Many institutes conduct entrance exams for selection of candidates in to this course. Based on your score in the entrance exams you can apply for this course in reputed colleges.
