A Graduate of any stream is eligible to make his or her career in banking sector to appear in IBPS clerical or PO exam. But I suggest you to opt Commerce / finance field to make a strong base to full fill your dream.

Software industry is challenging and high paying. Teaching is stable but less paying. Your career choice will depend on your interest. If you are interested in teaching, then i suggest plan to do Phd. Phd is a mandatory qualification for career progression as a teacher.

It is not necessary to have IT as a subject at +2 for CS / IT graduation. If you have PCM at +2 you can opt for BTech in CS /IT. Else you can opt for BCA/ BSc CS / IT.

After bsc you can apply for state and central govt jobs.All jobs that demand graduation.
Bsc and Msc jobs depend upon streams.
Else if you have bsc and msc plain you can be a teacher or a faculty of colleges. Rest is all about enhancing skills and getting experience.

Hello Unni,
Job opportunities mainly revolves around research in organizations such as NASA and teaching positions. In depth knowledge in mathematics, computers, statistics and physics and excellent academic grades are must for job prospects in US. A PhD is also important for an astrophysicist.
